Railways Inducts 30 Freight Wagons to Boost Trade

Lahore: The Pakistan Railways has inducted thirty new high-speed and high-capacity freight wagons into its network to modernize Pakistan’s freight transport system. Addressing the inauguration ceremony at the Lahore Cantt Railway Station, the Chief Executive Officer Railways, Aamir Ali Baloch, stated that these indigenously-made wagons have been designed to meet international standards and cater to the growing demands of the trading sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, Aamir Ali Baloch emphasized that Pakistan Railways plans to induct a total of eight hundred and fifty new freight wagons by the end of this year. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the efficiency and capacity of the country’s freight transportation infrastructure, thereby supporting economic growth and trade activities.
