Pakistan Aims to Strengthen Bilateral Ties with Bangladesh: President

Lahore: President Asif Ali Zardari has announced Pakistan’s intention to strengthen bilateral relations with Bangladesh across various domains, including commerce, trade, sports, culture, and people-to-people connections. He made these remarks during a reception for the Bangladesh and Pakistan Men’s cricket teams in Lahore on Sunday.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized the Pakistani government’s commitment to enhancing its relationship with Bangladesh. He highlighted the importance of investing in people as a means to elevate bilateral relations to new heights. The President also underscored the significant role of cricket in unifying nations globally, expressing his delight at the opportunity to host the Bangladeshi cricket team in Pakistan.

Furthermore, President Zardari assured the Bangladeshi envoy to Pakistan of his unwavering support in advancing the bilateral ties between the two countries. He also conveyed his aspiration to visit Bangladesh to further cement the relationship between the two nations.
