Saudi Arabia: Pakistan Air Force’s contingent, equipped with JF-17 Thunder Block-III fighter jets, has arrived at King Abdul Aziz Air Base for the “Spears of Victory-2025” aerial combat exercise. The event demonstrates the PAF’s long-range operational capabilities, having flown non-stop from Pakistan with in-flight refueling.
According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations, the exercise will see PAF pilots utilizing advanced AESA radar and extended range BVR systems on their JF-17 Thunder jets against various participating air forces. The event includes military assets from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, France, Greece, Qatar, UAE, UK, and USA.
The Royal Saudi Air Force is hosting the fifth iteration of this exercise, which aims to enhance interoperability among the participating nations amidst evolving air power technologies and shared aerial defense challenges.
The participation of the Pakistan Air Force underscores its commitment to regional and international collaboration, showcasing its ability to operate effectively in complex environments alongside contemporary air forces.
