Pakistan and Bangladesh Discuss Cooperation in Areas of Mutual Interest

Geneva: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Chaudhry Salik Hussain met with Bangladesh’s Adviser on Labour and Employment Dr. M. Sakhawat Hossain. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 353rd Governing Body session of the International Labour Organization in Geneva. Both officials engaged in discussions to explore avenues for strengthening cooperation in areas that are of mutual interest to their respective countries.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was also attended by Secretary Workers Welfare Fund Zulfiqar Ahmed and Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva, Ambassador Bilal Ahmad. The discussions focused on identifying potential areas where both countries could benefit from enhanced collaboration, especially in the sectors related to labor and employment.
