Pakistan and Belgium Commit to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Islamabad: Pakistan and Belgium have reaffirmed their commitment to further expand bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, education, health sciences, and people-to-people exchanges. This commitment was made during the fourth session of the Bilateral Political Consultations held in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was led by Additional Secretary Europe Ayesha Ali on the Pakistani side, while the Belgian delegation was headed by Director General Birgit Stevens. Both countries appreciated the positive momentum in their bilateral relations and engaged in detailed discussions on regional and global issues of mutual concern.

The two sides agreed to maintain close contacts and plan to hold the next session of consultations in Brussels in 2027.
