Pakistan and China Sign $250 Million MoUs to Enhance Agriculture and Food Processing Cooperation

Beijing: Pakistan and China have signed thirteen Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) valued at $250 million, aimed at fostering joint ventures in the animal fodder and fruits and vegetables processing sectors. The agreements were signed between Pakistani and Chinese companies in Beijing, marking a significant step in strengthening economic collaboration between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the signing ceremony was witnessed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi. During the event, Ambassador Hashmi underscored the robust trade ties between Pakistan and China, emphasizing the strategic importance of the agriculture and food processing sectors. He noted that the event highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to reinforce its trade relationship with China, with a focus on forging direct connections and long-term partnerships.
