Pakistan and Chinese Company Sign MoU to Boost Dry Fruit Exports

Islamabad: In a strategic move to expand its agricultural export base, Pakistan has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Chinese company aimed at enhancing the value addition and export of dry fruits. This partnership is set to open new markets for Pakistani dry fruits, particularly targeting the demand in China.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the collaboration is expected to significantly boost economic activities and create job opportunities in South Waziristan. The agreement focuses not only on increasing exports but also on improving the quality of the products to meet the high standards demanded by international markets, particularly in China.

This initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and China, leveraging agriculture as a key sector for development in Pakistan’s regions that have high potential for growth but have been underutilized in the past.
