Pakistan and Egypt Agree to Expand Bilateral Trade

Islamabad: Pakistan and Egypt have jointly decided to enhance their bilateral trade relations, as confirmed in a recent meeting between Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce, and Dr. Ihab Mohamed Abdelhamid Hassan, the Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan, held in Islamabad. The meeting underscored the untapped trade potential that exists between the two nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan assured the Egyptian envoy of the Commerce Ministry’s full support to Egyptian investors in Pakistan. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering an environment conducive to exporters and investors while working towards establishing stronger trade connections with Egypt.

The Egyptian Ambassador emphasized the importance of enhancing trade relations between the two countries. He mentioned his ongoing engagement with various Pakistani chambers of commerce to identify areas of mutual interest, aiming to boost economic ties.
