Pakistan and Egypt Decide to Expand Bilateral Trade

Islamabad: Pakistan and Egypt have decided to further expand bilateral trade. This was decided in a meeting between Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, and Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Ihab Mohamed Abdelhamid Hassan, in Islamabad. The discussions highlighted the untapped potential between the two countries.

According to Radio Pakistan, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan assured the Egyptian envoy that the Commerce Ministry will extend full support to Egyptian investors in Pakistan. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for exporters and investors and to forging stronger trade linkages with Egypt.

On his part, the Egyptian Ambassador emphasized the need to enhance trade relations with Pakistan. He mentioned that he is already engaged with various Pakistani chambers of commerce to identify areas of mutual interest.
