Pakistan and Italy Strengthen Bilateral Relations in Recent Consultations

Rome: The 6th round of Pakistan Italy Bilateral Political Consultations was held in Rome, where both countries expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of their bilateral ties.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was led by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch from the Pakistani side and Secretary General Ricardo Guariglia from the Italian delegation. Both sides acknowledged the growing cooperation between Pakistan and Italy, particularly within the context of the European Union.

The Foreign Secretary highlighted the expanding trade relations between the two countries and stressed the potential for further collaboration in various sectors, including economy, development, agriculture, defense, higher education, and people-to-people contacts.

Additionally, both delegations appreciated the similarity of their views on numerous international and regional issues, as well as their close coordination within the United Nations framework.
