Islamabad: The Foreign Ministers of Pakistan, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt have expressed their approval of President Donald J Trump’s leadership and earnest efforts to terminate the ongoing conflict in Gaza. They emphasized the significance of their partnership with the United States in securing peace in the region.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a collective statement, these ministers voiced their belief in Trump’s capability to pave a path to peace. They welcomed his proposal to not only end the war but also to initiate the reconstruction of Gaza, prevent the displacement of Palestinians, and advance a comprehensive peace plan. Additionally, they acknowledged Trump’s commitment to preventing the annexation of the West Bank.
The Foreign Ministers expressed their willingness to engage positively and constructively with the United States and other involved parties to finalize and implement an agreement that would ensure peace, security, and stability for the region’s populace. Their joint commitment to collaborate with the United States aims to achieve a comprehensive deal that addresses various aspects of the conflict.
The proposed comprehensive deal includes unrestricted humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza, prevention of Palestinian displacement, release of hostages, a security mechanism that ensures the security of all parties, complete Israeli withdrawal, reconstruction of Gaza, and the establishment of a just peace based on a two-state solution. This solution envisions Gaza’s full integration with the West Bank into a Palestinian state, in accordance with international law, as a key component to achieving regional stability and security.
