Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Agree to Convene Urgent OIC Meeting on Gaza

Islamabad: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reached an agreement to urgently convene an Extraordinary Meeting of Foreign Ministers from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to address the recent developments concerning Gaza. This decision emerged following a telephonic conversation between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussion between the two officials also involved a strong condemnation of the Israeli Prime Minister’s remarks, described as irresponsible and provocative. Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia, as well as its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. In response, the Saudi Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s consistent and reliable support for the Kingdom’s sanctity and inviolability.
