Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Applaud Progress in US-Iran Negotiations

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation today with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud. They welcomed the US-Iran negotiations in the final stage.

According to Radio Pakistan, both ministers expressed hope that this important development will contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region. The Saudi Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s consistent and sustained efforts in support of mediation and dialogue throughout the process.

Additionally, both sides discussed the forthcoming Regional Four Foreign Ministers (R-4) meeting, scheduled to be held in Egypt later this month.
