Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Commit to Enhancing Economic Ties

Islamabad: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have underscored the importance of strengthening economic cooperation, regional connectivity, and solidarity among Muslim nations. The understanding to this effect was reached during a meeting between National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Chairman of the Saudi Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ayaz Sadiq highlighted the significance of the Pakistan-Saudi Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement, describing it as a historic milestone and a proud achievement for Pakistan. The Speaker further announced that Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh will be conferred with Pakistan’s highest civil award in recognition of his efforts to enhance relations between the two nations.
