Riyadh: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to further strengthen their bilateral security relations. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif in Riyadh.
According to Radio Pakistan, the MoU will pave the way to enhance scientific, training, and research cooperation between Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior and the Saudi Ministry of Interior. It also aims to support the exchange of expertise and build institutional capacities in areas of mutual interest between the two ministries.
Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral security cooperation. They also reviewed relations between the two countries and explored opportunities to strengthen security coordination and cooperation between the two interior ministries, in addition to discussing issues of mutual interest.
