Pakistan and Tajikistan Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Baku: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has stated that Pakistan and Tajikistan maintain close coordination at international forums, particularly the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This statement was made during a meeting with the Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan, Fazali Idizoda, where the importance of strengthening parliamentary linkages was highlighted.

According to Radio Pakistan, both parties emphasized the need to further strengthen bilateral relations and inter-parliamentary cooperation. They expressed satisfaction over the growing cooperation in the defense sector, indicating a mutual interest in enhancing ties in this area.

In a separate meeting with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Nino Tsilosani, Chairman Senate Gilani discussed the prospects of enhancing parliamentary cooperation and partnerships in various fields. These discussions reflect Pakistan’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and expanding its diplomatic engagements.
