Pakistan and Turkiye Aim to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Islamabad: Ambassador of Turkiye to Pakistan Dr Irfan Naziroglu met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi in Islamabad today. They expressed a commitment to enhance the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on increasing cooperation in trade, investment, education, and culture. The discussions included plans to bolster economic ties between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Turkiye. Governor Kundi expressed gratitude for Turkiye’s support during the recent conflict between Pakistan and India.

The Turkish Ambassador announced plans to designate Peshawar as a sister city with a city in Turkiye, emphasizing cultural and economic exchanges. He also mentioned Turkiye’s intention to provide training opportunities for Pakistani youth in IT and modern technology.
