Islamabad: Pakistan and the United States have expressed satisfaction with the progress of their ongoing trade negotiations and have resolved to conclude these discussions next week. This commitment was made during a virtual meeting between Pakistan’s Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on expediting a trade agreement that would establish a partnership grounded in strategic and investment interests. Both parties agreed that this agreement would cover areas of mutual interest and would be finalized in due course.

The discussions emphasized the importance of meaningful engagement in trade and investment, aiming to deepen economic ties that would be mutually beneficial.
