Pakistan Army Intensifies Rescue Efforts Amid Flooding in Faisalabad Division

Faisalabad: Pakistan Army’s rescue operations continue in Jhang, Faisalabad, Chiniot, and Toba Tek Singh. To protect the population, Pakistan Army breached the embankment at three locations in Jhang and Faisalabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, following the breaching of the embankment, between one hundred thousand and one hundred fifty thousand cusecs of water has been diverted downstream. Army personnel are actively engaged in relocating flood-affected individuals to safer areas using helicopters and boats.

In Tandlianwala Tehsil, the army has established five relief camps, eighteen medical camps, and six rescue camps for flood victims. Essential medical aid and free medicines are being provided to those affected by the floods at these relief camps.
