Pakistan, Azerbaijan Commit to Strengthen Legal and Judicial Cooperation

Islamabad: Pakistan and Azerbaijan have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in legal, judicial, and institutional domains. The resolve was expressed during a meeting between Minister of Justice of Azerbaijan, Farid Ahmadov, and Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, both sides discussed avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the legal and judicial sectors. Speaking on the occasion, the Azerbaijani Minister assured continued cooperation in the field of judicial training and institutional collaboration between the two countries.

Farid Ahmadov presented the “Medal for Justice” to Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarar. The delegation was also briefed on the working mechanism and institutional framework of the Ministry of Law and Justice of Pakistan.
