Tamgha-i-Pakistan Conferred Upon French Archaeologist

Paris: The Embassy of Pakistan in Paris hosted a special ceremony in honour of French archaeologist and researcher Dr. Aurore Didier for conferment of Pakistan’s civil award, Tamgha-i-Pakistan. Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch conferred the award upon the archaeologist on behalf of the President of Pakistan in recognition of her outstanding contributions to archaeology and the promotion of cultural cooperation between Pakistan and France.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Didier has played a significant role in strengthening the cultural ties between the two nations through her extensive research and collaboration with Pakistani archaeologists. Her work has been instrumental in uncovering and preserving the ancient heritage of South Asia, furthering the understanding of shared history and culture.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, diplomats, and members of the academic community. The award highlights Pakistan’s appreciation for international scholars who contribute to the preservation and promotion of its cultural heritage.
