Pakistan, Bangladesh to Enhance Cooperation at Municipal Level

Islamabad: Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to enhance cooperation at the municipal level. The understanding was reached during a meeting between Chief Commissioner Islamabad Sohail Ashraf and Bangladesh’s High Commissioner Muhammad Iqbal Hussain in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and explored avenues for expanding cooperation between Islamabad and Dhaka. During the meeting, the Bangladeshi envoy emphasized that Pakistan and Bangladesh are working to strengthen people-to-people contacts and expand cooperation in trade and other sectors.
