R-4 Ministerial Meeting Commences in Cairo with Focus on Regional Cooperation

Islamabad: The R-4 Ministerial meeting commenced in Cairo, Egypt today in a restricted format. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Foreign Minister of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and Foreign Minister of Trkiye Hakan Fidan discussed regional developments, implementation of the ‘Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding’, and priority areas of cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to dialogue, diplomacy, and regional ownership of shared challenges. The discussions aimed at enhancing collaboration among the participating countries to address mutual concerns effectively.

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Trkiye, and Egypt continue to deepen cooperation for a more peaceful, stable, and connected region. The meeting highlighted the importance of collective efforts in tackling regional issues and the potential benefits of increased cooperation.
