Islamabad, March 05, 2020 (PPI-OT): The Pakistan Bar Council has challenged through its Vice-Chairman, Mr. Abid Saqi, the Judgment dated 13-01-2020 of the Hon’ble Lahore High Court, whereby it has assumed the jurisdiction not warranted by Constitution and the law, and thus its said Judgment regarding the matter pertaining to the high treason case against General ® Pervaiz Musharraf, is unconstitutional and void abnitio. Mr. Abid Saqi, Vice-Chairman, Pakistan Bar Council has filed today, a Petition for Leave to Appeal, in the Hon’ble Supreme Court in that regard.
