Pakistan Commits to Regional Peace Efforts: PM Shehbaz Sharif

Kuwait city: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assured that Pakistan will maintain its constructive role in promoting peace and stability in the region. This commitment was conveyed during a telephone conversation with Kuwait’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the conversation, the Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s condemnation of the attacks on Kuwait and expressed solidarity and support for the Kuwaiti people during these difficult times. He extended condolences for the loss of lives and wished for the quick recovery of those injured.

Shehbaz Sharif informed the Kuwaiti leadership about Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The Crown Prince of Kuwait acknowledged Pakistan’s mediation efforts between Iran and the United States, commending the Prime Minister’s leadership in this regard.

The Crown Prince expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s support during the crisis and appreciated the Prime Minister’s letter of solidarity to the Kuwaiti leadership. He also expressed his intention to visit Pakistan once the situation stabilizes.
