Naqvi Announces Special Protection Unit for Foreigners

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced the establishment of a special protection unit dedicated to the safety of foreign citizens. This announcement was made during his visit to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad, where he was welcomed by Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong.

According to Radio Pakistan, Naqvi emphasized that the personnel of this special protection unit will undergo training that includes learning the Chinese language. This initiative aims to enhance both security measures and communication effectiveness with foreign nationals.

The meeting between Naqvi and Ambassador Jiang also covered significant topics such as counter-terrorism efforts, security cooperation, and a police exchange program, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between the two nations in ensuring the safety and security of foreign citizens residing in the country.
