UN Chief Expresses Full Support for Pakistan’s Peace Efforts

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with United Nations Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres today. Sharing a post on his X handle, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that they exchanged views on the evolving situation in West Asia and its implications for international peace and security.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar emphasized that the United Nations remains essential for conflict prevention and resolution. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to diplomacy and dialogue as the only viable path to sustainable peace.

In his remarks, the UN Secretary-General expressed appreciation and extended his full support for Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts in pursuit of peace and stability in the region.
