Pakistan Committed to UN Cooperation on Climate Resilience: Musadik

Islamabad: Minister for Climate Change Dr Musadik Malik has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the United Nations on climate resilience and disaster preparedness. He was speaking with UN Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator Mohamed Yahya in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr Malik expressed appreciation for the United Nations’ support for countries affected by humanitarian emergencies and climate-related disasters. The minister underscored the importance of international collaboration in combating the effects of climate change, emphasizing Pakistan’s dedication to working closely with the UN to enhance disaster preparedness and resilience against climate impacts.
