Pakistan Denounces Hindu Priest’s Remarks on Prophet Muhammad

Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of the disrespectful and provocative comments made by Hindu priest Yati Narsinghan regarding the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), which have incited outrage among Muslims worldwide.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, during a news briefing in Islamabad on Monday, described how the remarks deeply offended both the Pakistani populace and Muslims globally. The spokesperson highlighted the emotional impact of the comments and called on Indian authorities to take decisive action against the priest.

The spokesperson also pressed India to address the broader issue of rising religious intolerance and hate speech targeting Muslims, urging measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
