Pakistan Dispatches Another Relief Consignment for Gaza

Lahore: As per the directives of the Prime Minister, the 21st consignment of relief goods was dispatched for Gaza through a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore on Monday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the relief consignment comprises one hundred tonnes of ration baggage, cooked meal, and fruit tin packs. Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, the representatives of the federal and provincial governments and officials of the NDMA attended the ceremony held at the airport.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister lauded the efforts of the National Disaster Management Authority and welfare organizations to ensure immediate dispatch of the relief goods to the people of Gaza. He reiterated the resolve that the government of Pakistan is committed and standing shoulder to shoulder with the people of Palestine in these testing times and will make all out efforts to ensure their help.
