Pakistan Expresses Concern Over Continued Ceasefire Violations in Gaza

Pakistan: Pakistan has expressed concern over continued ceasefire violations and the acute humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Speaking at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, highlighted the challenges faced by the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahmad stated that the efforts of the Board of Peace, United Nations, and international non-governmental organizations are being undermined by the unlawful actions of the occupation authorities. Ahmad emphasized the need for immediate, unhindered, and unimpeded humanitarian access in Gaza. He called for all crossings, including Rafah, to be opened and maintained fully operational to facilitate aid, commercial supplies, and medical evacuations.

Furthermore, the Ambassador urged for the lifting of the blockade on Gaza. He insisted that attacks on humanitarian and medical personnel must cease immediately and called for an end to any unlawful detentions in the region.
