Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani tonight and strongly condemned the unlawful and heinous bombing in Doha by Israeli forces.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister conveyed his deepest sympathies and expressed solidarity with the Amir, the Qatari Royal Family, and the people of Qatar over the Israeli bombing that resulted in the loss of lives and damage to civilian property.
The Prime Minister described the Israeli aggression as a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Qatar, posing a dangerous provocation that could threaten regional peace and stability. He referred to Israel’s attack as an act that reflected the mindset of its leaders, who are willing to pursue their goals at any cost.
The Prime Minister called for unity among the Muslim Ummah at this critical time and assured the Amir of Qatar that Pakistan stood firmly with the State of Qatar against Israel’s aggression.
While thanking the Prime Minister for his call and expression of solidarity, the Amir of Qatar said he was touched by this gesture, reflecting the deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and Qatar. Both leaders agreed to remain in contact in the interest of regional peace and security.
