Pakistan expresses sorrow over landslide tragedy in Philippines

Pakistan is deeply saddened by the devastation caused by a landslide in the southern Philippines, which claimed multiple lives.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed heartfelt condolences to the Government and the people of the Philippines, as well as to the families of the deceased.

She emphasized that this incident serves as another grim reminder of the ravages caused by climate change and underscores the urgent need for collective action to address it.
