Pakistan High Commission in Ottawa Holds IIOJK Solidarity Event

Islamabad: The High Commission for Pakistan in Ottawa, Canada organized an event to express Pakistan’s steadfast solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Radio Pakistan, addressing the gathering, High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem highlighted the ongoing restrictions on fundamental freedoms, prolonged detentions, demographic changes, and reports of human rights violations in IIOJK as issues that continue to raise serious concerns with the international community.

The High Commissioner emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir remains an internationally recognized unresolved dispute. He insisted that the peaceful settlement of this issue should be pursued in accordance with the relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
