Pakistan High Commissioner to Singapore presents credentials

Islamabad: 1. The Presentation of Credentials ceremony for H.E. Syed Hasan Javed, High Commissioner for Islamic Republic of Pakistan was held today at Istana (the Presidential Place in Singapore), says a press release received here today from Singapore.

2. An impressive ceremony was held at Istana. The High Commissioner was presented with the Guard of Honour and Salute by the Guard. After the salute, the High Commissioner proceeded to the President’s office where he presented his Letter of Credence and Letter of Recall of the former High Commissioner to the President S.R. Nathan. The President was accompanied by the First lady, Mrs. Nathan. The High Commissioner was accompanied by his wife and other officers of the mission.

3. After the presentation of Credentials, the High Commissioner called on President S.R. Nathan. During the call, the President formally welcomed the High Commissioner to Singapore and exchanged courtesies. The High Commissioner thanked the President and conveyed to him the greetings of the President of Pakistan. He assured him of his full cooperation in promoting friendly relations between the two countries.

4. This Credential ceremony was held within days of arrival of High Commissioner for Pakistan.
