Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber met with Chinese State Councilor and Defense Minister Gen. Li Shangfu in Beijing.
Speaking on the occasion, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber said Pakistan highly values its traditional friendship with China, and with the profound changes unfolding in the international situation and geopolitical landscape.
He said Pakistan Air Force is willing to further promote exchanges with the Chinese side in fields in order to cope with regional security challenge
General Li Shangfu said that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic cooperative partners and iron-clad friends.
He noted that the military cooperation between China and Pakistan is delivering high-level performance, with close high-level exchanges and constantly improved cooperation mechanisms.
