Pakistan International Airlines offering special Umrah fares

Karachi, April 12, 2013 (PPI-OT): PIA is now offering special Umrah fares. The special fares are Rs. 40,000/- from Karachi and Rs. 48,000/- from other cities of Pakistan inclusive of taxes and fuel surcharge. The offer is valid till 31st May 2013.

The decision was taken after a meeting held at PIA Head Office to review PIA Umrah Operation 2013. Chairman PIA, Lt. General (Retd.) Asif Yasin Malik directed airline officials to provide maximum facilities to PIA Umrah Passengers. The meeting was attended by Managing Director PIA, Muhammad Junaid Yunus and senior officials of the airline.

Earlier, Chairman PIA, Lt. General (Retd) Asif Yasin Malik and Managing Director PIA, Muhammad Junaid Yunus, visited PIA Township (Staff Residential Colony) near PIA Head Office. Chairman PIA instructed Director Human Resources PIA and General Manager Works to ensure proper maintenance of PIA Township including the maintenance of streets, its lighting and paint work of the residential flats.

He also instructed PIA Security Division to provide better security for PIA Township. The employees welcomed the Chairman and Managing Director PIA and thanked them for their interest in improving the amenities of PIA Township.
