Pakistan President Summons National Assembly Session in Islamabad

Islamabad: In a formal notification issued by the National Assembly Secretariat, the President of Pakistan has summoned the National Assembly to convene in Islamabad. The session is scheduled to be held at the Parliament House on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, this session has been called under the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The notification, signed by the Secretary General Tahir Hussain and Advisor (Legislation) Mohammad Mushtaq, has been disseminated widely, ensuring members of the National Assembly and other high-ranking officials across various provinces are informed and in attendance.
