Pakistan, Qatar, and Nepal to Boost Parliamentary Cooperation

Geneva: Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani held meetings with the Speakers of Qatar’s Shura Council Hassan Al-Ghanim and Nepal’s House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire in Geneva today. The discussions aimed at strengthening parliamentary ties between Pakistan, Qatar, and Nepal.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting with Hassan Al-Ghanim, the two leaders reiterated the longstanding fraternal relationship between Pakistan and Qatar. They emphasized their shared values and mutual respect, reflecting a common vision for peace and development.

In his discussion with Devraj Ghimire, Chairman Senate Gilani highlighted Pakistan’s dedication to enhancing its partnership with Nepal. The focus was on parliamentary diplomacy, trade, education, tourism, and cultural exchanges. Ghimire expressed gratitude towards Pakistan for offering scholarships to Nepalese students at esteemed Pakistani institutions.
