Karachi: TPL Properties has initiated construction on Lagoon Views 1, the first residential tower of The Mangrove, Karachi’s pioneering mixed-use sustainable development located at Cantonment Board Korangi Creek. The groundbreaking ceremony, held on July 30, 2025, marked a significant milestone in urban development for the city.
The event witnessed participation from senior leadership across TPL Group, including TPL Properties, TPL REIT Management Company, and TPL Developments. This collaborative effort aims to introduce a new model of living that integrates ecological responsibility with modern urban living.
“Lagoon Views 1 is more than just a building. It is the beginning of a new way of life for Karachi,” stated Mr. Ali Jameel, CEO of TPL Properties. The project is designed to offer intelligent and environmentally responsive urban living, setting a precedent for future developments in the region.
The Mangrove’s architectural design is being developed in partnership with SSH, a firm known for its focus on creating human-centric and forward-thinking spaces. This collaboration is expected to bring a unique blend of sustainability and modernity to Karachi’s real estate landscape.
Launched in February 2025, Lagoon Views Tower 1 is slated for completion by the third quarter of 2029. The development has already garnered significant interest from overseas Pakistanis and urban investors, with bookings currently open at the Mangrove site office.
