Pakistan Railways and Interior Ministry to Enhance Passenger Security Cooperation

Islamabad: Pakistan Railways and the Interior Ministry have reached an agreement to strengthen cooperation in enhancing the security of passengers and improving the operational efficiency of Pakistan Railways.

According to Radio Pakistan, this consensus was achieved during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi in Islamabad. During the meeting, Hanif Abbasi emphasized the transformative changes introduced in Pakistan Railways aimed at improving efficiency, governance, and service delivery.

Mohsin Naqvi expressed confidence that these measures would significantly enhance the performance of Pakistan Railways. Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to modernizing Pakistan Railways, with the goal of transforming it into a safe, efficient, and passenger-friendly national institution.
