Pakistan Reaffirms Support to NAM’s Stance on Self-Determination

Kampala: Pakistan has reaffirmed support for the Non-Aligned Movement’s principled stance on the right to self-determination for peoples under foreign occupation and war rhetoric in South Asia. The affirmation was expressed at the nineteenth Mid-Term Ministerial Meeting of the NAM in Kampala, Uganda.

According to Radio Pakistan, at the plenary session of the ministerial meeting, Pakistan’s Special Secretary-UN Nabeel Munir delivered national statements, emphasizing NAM’s vital role in promoting peace and development amid global challenges, including the unresolved disputes of Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting concluded with the adoption of the Kampala Declaration, which recognized Pakistan’s contributions to peace and stability in the Middle East.
