Karachi, In a recent development, M/s Shell Pakistan Limited (Target Company) has received a firm intention from Pakistan Refinery Limited and Air Link Communication Limited (Acquirers) through Next Capital Limited (Manager to the Offer) to collectively acquire control and 77.42% of the paid-up capital of the Target Company. This acquisition is set to go beyond the prescribed thresholds under Section 111 of the Act. The firm intention was officially notified to the Board of Directors of the Target Company on July 17, 2023.
