Pakistan Reiterates Support for Resolution of Ukraine Conflict

Islamabad: Pakistan has reiterated its firm support for a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict. At the UN Security Council meeting, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, stated that his country stands ready to support all efforts towards achieving this goal.

According to Radio Pakistan, Asim Iftikhar emphasized the importance of adopting a path of inclusive and constructive diplomacy. He highlighted the need to involve key regional and international stakeholders to promote trust and build confidence, aiming to pave the way for a just and lasting peace.

He further noted that the Istanbul talks should be built upon and advanced with genuine and reciprocal commitment to peace.
