Punjab Keen to Expand Cooperation with UAE in Education, Research, and Environment: Maryam

Lahore: Ambassador of United Arab Emirates, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi, met with PML N President, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore on Friday. The meeting focused on enhancing mutual cooperation in areas such as education, science, and IT.

According to Radio Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif emphasized that the ties between Pakistan and the UAE are deeply rooted and go beyond mere diplomatic relations. These connections, he noted, are built on mutual respect and shared interests.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed Punjab’s keen interest in expanding cooperation with the UAE, particularly in the sectors of education, research, and environment. She highlighted the increasing bilateral trade volume between the two countries as a positive development, reflecting the strengthening of their economic ties.
