Pakistan Stands Shoulder to Shoulder with Qatar: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Qatar in the pursuit of a secure, prosperous, and interconnected region. He emphasized this solidarity while speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad celebrating Qatar’s National Day.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the strategic partnership between Pakistan and Qatar, which encompasses various sectors such as energy security, trade and investment, and people-to-people contacts. He noted that Qatar’s investments in Pakistan’s infrastructure, real estate, and renewable energy sectors are contributing significantly to the country’s economic revival.

Shehbaz Sharif also lauded Qatar’s efforts in facilitating dialogue, reducing tensions, and promoting reconciliation, which are aimed at fostering regional and global peace and stability.
