Pakistan Supports China’s Global Governance Initiative

New york: At the United Nations, Pakistan has fully supported the initiative taken by Chinese President Xi Jinping regarding the establishment and launch of the Group of Friends of Global Governance. Speaking at the first meeting of this group, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, expressed Pakistan’s commendation for China’s commitment to international cooperation and its efforts to enhance multilateral diplomacy.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador highlighted that the Prime Minister of Pakistan considers this initiative a significant step toward strengthening the multilateral system. This move is aimed at better addressing the contemporary challenges of peace and development that humanity faces today.
