Pakistan Advocates for Dialogue and Restraint in Ukraine Conflict

Islamabad: Pakistan has called for exercising restraint, demonstrating political will, and earnestly engaging in dialogue for a meaningful and mutually acceptable settlement of the Ukraine issue. This was stated by the Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan, Ambassador Usman Jadoon, while addressing a briefing at the United Nations Security Council on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador emphasized that Pakistan remains an ardent supporter of a peaceful resolution to this conflict. He highlighted the importance of the renewed momentum towards peace and diplomatic engagements, which are being led by the United States.

Ambassador Usman Jadoon further conveyed that Pakistan stands ready to support all efforts aimed at resolving the issue in a peaceful, just, comprehensive, and durable manner.
