Pakistan to Launch Satellite Internet Soon: IT Minister

Islamabad: Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khwaja has announced that Pakistan will soon launch satellite internet to facilitate people and promote the IT industry in the country. She shared these plans while addressing a ceremony after inaugurating the Zong Computing Power Network and Data Centre in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister stated that internet service will be further improved with the auction of spectrum scheduled for the next quarter. This move is part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to enhance digital connectivity and support technological advancements within the nation.
