Pakistan Stock Exchange Hosts Gender Equality Workshop in Collaboration with UN Initiative

Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), in partnership with the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (UN SSE) initiative, has announced a training workshop on Gender Equality and Global Capital Markets, scheduled for 25th and 27th November 2024. The virtual event, held on Zoom, is part of an effort to enhance gender equality practices within the financial sector.

The workshop is designed to guide participants through the financial and corporate implications of gender inequality. By completing four educational modules, participants will gain insights into sustainable finance and learn how to improve corporate reporting and literacy concerning gender equality. The training will also highlight market opportunities that arise from advancing gender equality initiatives. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the event will feature discussions on the potential financial benefits of integrating gender-focused practices into business models.

Registration for the workshop is mandatory, with details available on PSX’s website. Participants who complete the training and a subsequent feedback survey will receive a CPD certified certificate, worth 4 CPD credits, acknowledging their participation and completion of the workshop.
